I see that some or many of you are artistically inclined in making gun stocks for your CO2s and PCPs but have you ever used Narra as your Gun stock? The grains are nice that to paint it, is a disaster and can not see its' beauty. Can Narra be used as a springer gun stock? I doubt its strength when kocking a springer. ;D

Yes bro I have seen a narra stock, though most stock makers prefer wood that are closed grain (dunno if I got the term right) while Narra has open grain. And yes it should have a natural finish. IF you want a painted stock then use a cheaper wood hehehe.
AS to using it on springer, I am not in an authority to comment as I am not familiar with Narra's structural strength.

So it is better to use Yakal for springers because it is dense. Imported gun stock for springer resembles like yakal grain

Bro.
Bigat nga. Kailangan matibay ang stock para di mabali ang stock kung mag-break barrel kocking. Kita ko advantage ng side lever and under lever kocking sa springer.
