hi guys. New to the sport. Can anyone mention what stores carry other brands of good quality airguns. Last time i checked may mga GAMO breakbarrel airguns sa Stronghand. Anybody else knows where to find imported toys like dianawerke, RWS, Airforce and the like? Sure would like to see these things around. ;D

Hi storm and welcome, nice to know you are also interested in seeing such imported brands. Yes you correct Stronghand i believe is the distributor for Gamo in the Phils. Kaya lang if you say break barrel di ako mahilig nito na klase, heavy and grabe ang recoil. Just my opinion though.
Medyo di kasi ganun ka active na ngayon ang AG community sa Davao, unlike in other parts of Mindanao and Visayas. Active ang competitive aspect sa AG. That is why we wanted to revive the sport aspect by starting this forum.
As for quality airguns, Filarms makes quality AG. They already export and have read from a few forums abroad abouts its good reviews.
For one, the design got help from no less than Tim Mcmurray of MAC-1 airguns if I am not mistaken. And Filarms has committed to adhere in making top quality guns than concentrate on quantity. Affordable pa hehehe. Mapili din sa pellets ang imported AG's. You can't use local pellets. So if you want to be competitve and practice a lot. Better put the consumables as part of the things you will consider.

hi snyper thanks for the welcome. Well i grew up with a break barrel. For me its very affordable because after the purchase you only need to buy pellets nothing more. No ambient temperature to worry about, no low pressure levels to be concerned with and no heavy tank or pump to carry around. he he he tamad eh.
With the others well... you have to buy CO2 on top of the pellets. PCPs are great. Was able to use one owned by a friend. But one needs to buy a pump 10K? plus lots of exercise? or a scuba tank? Brandnew would be just about the cost of the gun maybe more. Plus a need to find a scuba charging station. Cant find any of those anywhere near me. Over all the cost of a pcp set would be around 25 - 30K?
Break barrels are great too. You just have to practise some more using it. It demands a different way of holding it when you aim and fire. Last time i checked with stronghand they only have the GAMO .177 variants available. I want a 22.

good for you, and I would agree na less ang hassle sa break barrel. To each his own ika nga.
PCP are becoming affordable now,may mabili kana na 10K entry level and with very good performance. Yeah we went to stronghand too to check it out.
Are you from Davao too? Cause we are trying to get AG enthusiast to get together and have a fun day of plinking and punching paper.

that's the pain bro. Im not. Been trying to find a good airgun for myself but all the stores who sell the good stuff are far from my location. People in my place still use the old somewhat reliable "pugsak" brass ag made by estrella parco.

Bro rex our AG are capable of toppling rams @55 yards , If you will consider that long range we are ready wahaha! I believe FT matches use that distance if I'm not mistaken. Also, we have several buddies that already use PCP rifles. As a matter of fact there are a number of shooter that have PCP's here in Davao. When the word gets out that we have regular practice sessions these guys will surface.
As a side note we are planning on doing a friendly competition next month, baka pede ka namin padalhan ng sponsorhsip solicitation. Ahihihi!

Well you got your wish bros,I'll send you the FT 2 fully functional and 6 interchangeable face plates.Just copy the knock em down mechanism for the 6 face plate so you will have 8 functional FT.So every body could shoot at the same time,dili na mag pila.hehehe!!!

Last time nag sale sila ang palit sa usa nako naistorya 5K man ata ang Executive model. Wla lang hinuon nako ma confirm. Cheers! |
