armscor pcp: pros: fine craftsmanship, classic design, aluminum receiver, smooth trigger, power and trigger adjustment can be done w/o removing the stock, knurled steel reservoir, quick fill port, no tool marks, parts fit together perfectly, solid feel. could be improved: hammer is hard to kock, remarks: lowest muzzle velocity setting is 850 fps at 2000 psi, this is a very accurate rifle

the main difference between the filarms and hill pump is the size. the hill pump is bigger which enables it to fill the air res. much faster. it's a rewarding sight to see the pressure gauge rise one notch on every down stroke.
and because it's taller one doesn't have to bend too deep. it also comes with a standard high pressure tube and fill probe. i think it can be used for filling via scuba tank. i'll be taking it to the dive shop to see if it fits directly.
while the filarms pump is so handy it cud fit in the same bag as the cb rifle.

Guys, My Armscor PCP has a serial number 00007, 0.22 cal with 20.25" long barrel. Out of the box, I filled it 3200 psi and I was able to get around 74 shots. Its started at around 780fps with the highest of 870 fps and stopped at 780 fps again...pressure reading at around 1600 psi. The ag is hard to kock due to the very light weight of the hammer. the trigger is also harder to fire compared t my JBC arigun. Without touching the adjustment screw, I think its best to used it at around 2600-2700 psi down to around 1600 psi...this will get you around 45-50 good shots... The wood is perfect including the checkered forearm.... The gun is very heavy due to the steel tank that I think is very thick to be safe to users...the bleeder switch is an advantage if you hava any tanks, but with only one tank, its used only if you'll disassmble the airgun. Overall from 1 to 10, I can say its on the 7, as the barrel is d**n accurate...I'm hitting below 1" at 54 yards....benchrest... Improvement suggestions?? 1. Make the kocking effort lighter by maybe making the hammer heavier. 2. For hunting, make the gun lighter by using ligther metal, T6 or T3 aluminum will do as T6 has almost the same properties as steel and T3 is better but costlier.. 3. Make the trigger easier to fire... The adjustment screw thru the "Tuning elbow" is the best, no need to disassemble the airgun to adjust the power. Two good things are the JBC pump can be used directly without any fill port modification, same size 3/8" fill port and my HW silencer fits well, 16mm yata ID...although the Armscor needs a treaded silencer, 1/2 x 20 tpi yata yon. So far, its ok with me and its shooting well. Regards, Boy img382.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc00113dt3.jpg

tonight i've had a good educational encounter with my armscor pcp.
against the words of the instruction manual, i emptied the cylinder and foolishly squeezed the trigger. the firing pin got stuck dahil cguro hindi pa sya masyadong na honing. i had no other choice but to disassemble my rifle. problem was easily soved...
ang ganda talaga pagkagawa ng pcp na to. at madali pang ma dismantle at ma reassemble without acquiring tool marks and scratches.
sana gumawa din ang armscor ng tornado. at sana makuha ko yung may sn na 00001. ;D

Saw this blog entry in the Pyramid Air Blog about Asmscor PCP not much but just goes to show they are able to export their product. The article is actually about the recent 2009 IWA shot - European Shot show held in Nuremberg.
